Has anyone used a mist atomiser? I have a plastic spiral diffusor at the moment but I'm not happy with it because it keeps blasting out the occasional giant bubble which makes a loud noise and disturbs the fish.
The atomiser looks good producing a fine mist of Co2 so I'm thinking would this be any better.

mist atomisers are great, they do need a high PSI to work on though. They won't work with DIY C02.

I was looking at this, this morning...

Tools & materials:
1. ceramic rings
2. hose connector
3. superglue
4. slate pencil / stone pencil for glue hardener (optional)

I'm currently using an atomic diffuser, they work much better than CO2 ladders/spirals especially is used in conjunction with other items such as lily pipes as it increases the time the bubbles are in the water leading to more CO2 being dissolved into the water.

I might give the above a go and see how it goes, cheers Ianho.

then it will work fine, as long as (don't quote me) but the cylinder is over 45 bar the mist atomiser will work.

I just e.mailed Aqua Essentials and they replied that I need a pressure regulater set at 2bar, and because mine is 1.5 bar the mist atomiser is not suitable for me grrrrrr!

I'd say it depends on the diffuser, I've got one on a DIY set up, unsure of the pressure but it's going to be less than your average pressurised kit I would of though.
