before my boss went on holiday she put in 4 shrimp about 3cm long into the work 110Litre tank containing

6 tetras
1 Angel
2 New Guinea Rainbow
4 small golden chinese Algea eaters ??????????????
3 corries
1 excellent red dwarf gourami (my Fave)
2 guppies

they now seem to have vanished

Any ideas??????????

Chinese Algae Eaters can also be nasty, but they may still be too small. The aggression usually starts as they become "adults".

Sounds like it's just a generally shrimp-unfriendly tank to me! Sorry!

How big is the angel? If its not very big then it might not be him (her?). Shrimp are escape artists, so I would look inside the filter outlet, any other places where they might hide.

I have a Juwel tank with an inbuilt filter. I found my shrimp in there after a few days.
