Missing Neon

5 out of 6 are acounted for . He is in a 55gal and i've looked everywhere and i still can't find him. The only other fish in the tank are 3 boesemanis, 5 corys, 2 ottos, 1 longfinned daino. tonight i'm doing a water change so mabey i will find him then. Is there anything else i can do?

Tetras always seem to disappear - I have a 10 gal and I've been unable to find one of my glow-lights upon multiple occasions... they always find that one place that you can only see then from that one angle (if even from any angle).

So I wish you luck in finding him, I'm sure he's around there somewhere (hopefully)

Hate to be negative, but he probably made a nice snack for someone. I have had several neons disappear. I suspect they die and are eaten by scavengers.

The neon may be behind the filter, or in some wood.
Just keep checking.

Check where the current hits objects. Could it have been sucked in to the filter?
