Missing Fish But A Couple Of Fry. Help Quick!

Hi there. I have only had my tank up and running for 2 weeks. I started off with 5 platys. One died yesterday, had my water tested and it has gone through the amonia cycle and is in the early stages of the nitrite cycle. I got in from work tonight, went to turn my light off and noticed there was only 3 fish in the tank. I have been looking very hard for quite a while and cannot find the missing fish anywhere but while i was looking i noticed approx 4 or 5 tiny fish. What i am asking is would the other fish eat the missing one? They are all about the same size. Or if not anyone got any ideas where it has gone?

Help, I'm confused.

Also what should i be feeding the babies if they don't get eaten by tommorow??

Have found the missing fish, Shes hiding under a rock (maybe still having babies) I have had another good look around and have now managed to cound about 10 babies so i still need to know what to feed them.

if you don't have a place for the fry, they'll be eaten shortly. Breeding nets are pretty cheap.

I feed my fry "Hikari first bites". It's in a green package a bit bigger than a deck of cards, but only about 5mm thick.

If they last untill tommorrow i will buy a breeding trap. How would i get them into it? try and net them?
