I was thinking of adding a Betta to my tank but the tanks glass seems to be mirrorred so would it be okay to keep it in this tank? Thanks

A lot of glass looks mirrored whilst water in. Have you ever had a watch on whilst in the bath? Mirrored too.

Is the glass colourless and transparent? If so it'll be fine, you always get some form of reflection, it's to do with the angle at which light penetrates the glass and whether or not it exceeds the critical angle, if it does, it is reflected, if your betta is looking straight through the glass he shouldn't see his reflection, whereas if he was looking from an angle then it probably would appear reflected.

I have a triangle tank with both sides mirrored....my betta couldn't give a toss about his reflection....he's too busy swimming around and cruising with the other fish. Every once in a while he might check himself out to see how good he looks.

Thanks for the advice. The fish shop are out of Bettas but will have them in on wednesday so we'll see what they have then :)
