Night61
Fish Herder
well two days ago one of my nitrina snails went missing when i was changing out orinments on my bettas. i looked for him on the tank and on the orinment i removed and couldn't find him, so i thought he was just hiding.
so today i was tanking down two of my betta tanks in favor of a 10 gallon divided for my bettas, i was hoping to find my missing snail today outside of the tank completly dry. i thought for sure this little guy was dead and felt terrible thinking i had killed it. either he climbed out or he was on the orinment and fell off unnoticed. when i picked him up he didn't fall out of his shell so i thought for a breif moment maybe i could save him. i filled a small shallow dish with tank water and placed him in it and left him alone for five minutes. when i came back to him, he was clinging to the side of the glass with his little antenti out. huzzah! he survived, i quickly dropped him into the new 20 gallon tank tank and off he went into the plants. just checked on him he has found his buddy and both are doing well.
so thats the story of the miracle snail.
btw these are great little algae eaters.
