Miracle Mud

Has anyone heard of a product called miracle mud?

It is a product to be used as the substrate in a refugium as part of the filtration for a marine tank, I think. Supposed to add trace elements back into the tank and remove metabolics (eg.nitrate) from the water by providing place for algae to grow. I dont think it can be used in freshwater tanks.
