Okay so about 2 weeks ago, I noticed that my white molly had caught a little fin rot, so I quarantined it immediately and hoped that infection wouldn't contaminate the water. Out of fear and concern, last week, I had cleaned the whole tank and my filters to hopefully rid of the fin rot disease. Unfortunately, about 2 days later, I noticed my bala shark's' top fin looking suspicious. It looked like fin rot came back. It's been 5 days later and I do believe that fin rot is back in the water and has contaminated some other of my fishes. Weary from cleaning the whole tank all over again, would it be possible to use Mardel Maracyn 1 and 2 for my 60 gallon tank to rid of ALL of the disease rather than quarantine the fishes? If all else fails, I will resort to cleaning the whole tank again and quarantine the fishes.
Note: I have a 60 gallon tank, 2 Rena xp3 filters, 14 neon tetras, 7 glowlight tetras, 2 plecos, and 3 balas. (The weather was getting colder so I had to temporarily put the balas and plecos in the 60 gallon tank. I'm currently looking for a bigger tank for them.)
If there's any confusion or lack of info, let me know!
