Miniture puffer fish

Hi all i have a couple of miniture tropical puffer fish and i wonderd if there was any way to tell the sex's on these fish and can you breed them? They seem quite happy and content but i dont know anything about them i have had them since easter and i have never seen them feed. What do they eat? They must be feeding ok as they have grown since i got them.

supposedly the males have a brwon stripe on the belly and wrinkles behind the eyes....female no wrinkles and yellow belly, juvis have white belly and sex is difficult to tell.....i ve herd that theyll eat frozen blood worms, froxen brine shrimp, baby snail, ghost shrimp(if u can get small enough ones), live black worms bloodworms and brine shrimp.......this all applies to dwarf puffers.....these ones: http/www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_puffer3.php

BTW: r urs nice and plump or look like they were skwished behind the gills

Mine seem nice and plump and from what you said it looks like i have a male and a femail as one has a plain white belly and one has a light brown stripe down the midle of its belly. Is there any way of breeding these kinda fish? If so can anyone give me any advice on it?

i dont know about breeding them but u have it mixed up a little(sorry if i confused u)the one with a light brown stripe is a male...a young one....the other is a juvi....the females have a yellow belly....in a few months ull be able to tell if its a female or not.....good luck with them


edit: they r eating good since they r plump...ill try tp find info on breeding them
