Hi what is the min temp for bettas? is it ok if i keep my betta in my room with no heater at a temp of 25-26? maybe lowest in 24 but will raap a towel round and maybe put in a polystyrene box

They prefer a temp of around 27-28, 25 should be ok as long as it doesn't dip below that.

I keep Alfie at 80 degrees

You just need to be sure the temp doesn't flucuate radically

I think it's 75

I found online: Bettas live in temperatures ranging from 75F to 82F

25 degress celcius is 78 degrees f.

Min temp in fahrenheit is 75... 75 to 82 is acceptable... but optimum is 78F.

Yes, it's ok although a little higher would be better. And as long as it doesn't flucuate radically day/night

Without a heater, George's tank stays at 72°-74°. I agree that warmer would be better, but so far he's remained healthy and appears happy. I've had him close to two years.
