so bascially i was tired of carrying bucket after bucket heating water to do water changes so i made a water storing thing.. Bascially. Clean garbage can with two heaters a pump to keep water moving a drive pump to return it to my tanks... it worked fine for the first week then i noticed that it started to smell weird.. i think its mildew or something growing inside of it.. any ideas on how i could get rid of that smell? the water is pitch black. as in i cut holes just for the hoses to come out of the garbage can lid. would getting a light in there ill anything or just having everything exposed to light do the trick? thanks Seth
