ok in my 20 gallon (uk) tank i have two apistogramma trif. which was fine untill the male started showing definate signs of wanting to bred with the female. i've read that i really need two females to one male and having only twenty gallons i'm faced with a small problem (working on the one apisto to 10 gallons rule).

what do you think - can i put another female in there so they can share his attentions or not?
is it likely he'll stress her out so much she'll pop her cloggs?

-_-

If your looking for advice on the Apistos: have a look at the New World section: this is their department, not the african sections. Hope you can find some help ;)

sorry wrong section - not with it today

can this be moved?
