ive just used melafix for the first time as i suspected my angelfish of having finrot, and theres probably a simple answer to this but, melafix, being antibacterial, wouldnt it kill off the good filter bacteria? -_-
 
No, AFAIK it doesn't. It's only diluted tea tree oil, nothing spectacular.

righto, i didnt really think it would, as its so popular, if it caused minicycles no one would use it. thanks for reassurance :)

ps. it smells great, think i might become a melafix junkie
