To get Micranthemum/Hemianthus micranthemoides to cover the foreground you will need more light than you currently have. At your current levels it will grow upwards as a bush of stem plants.

Dave.

I was wondering whether you have Hemianthus callitrichoides (HC) in mind when you are talking about covering the substrate?

If you upgrade your lights, you will have to be careful as to what levels you go to.

Dave.
