Mickey Moust Molly Fry?

The image is hard to see but my three little fry, that the mama molly gave birth nearly two weeks ago (she has died..) but the little fry I look at them , I know one is a dalmatian. the mama was a gold/orange molly and the daddy was a black molly.

could it be that one has a mickey mouse tail??How is that so? The other fish I have is neon tetra. Three of them.
I did go to the pet store to get three more molly fishies. I wanted a male and a female. Turns out the guy at the store couldn't tell the difference and got me all males. So now I have four males. I am not getting any more fish. I wanted a female to make the male happy.

If the mother was a orange molly and the father was black than chances are that that is just the markings the baby has genetically. Molly's and Platy's cant interbreed (If I remember correctly - which I may not)
But i assume you have no Platy's in your tank anyways, just the Tetra's and the Mollies.
I'm afraid I'm having trouble understanding what you are trying to get across tho, other thank the one has a Micky Mouse tail for some reason (Which is probably just a genetic quirk)

I don't have any platy's, never had any. Actually I am thinking of buying another fish tank for the living room. The on we have is in my daughter's room (10 gal) but the fry are soo cute and when they are ready, they won't be able to go into the 10 gal tank.. too many fishies.

can you get a picture of your mollies? they are platies for definite, wrong shape for mollies

they indeed to look like platy fry.. i have some molly fry in my tank and they dont look anything like those that you have. altho yours are clearly older then mine but they are an entirely different shape. i dunno who the dad was of my fry but the mom is a solid black molly and so far i have 2 yellow babies, and 2 that has a darker body and some spots. if i remember correctly the ''mickey mouse'' is only a type of platy not a molly. and Mollys and Platys cannot interbreed as far as ive ever heard or read about. altho pretty soon i wont know what fry is who as i have a swordtail female pregnant AND a platy pregnant and my female molly is still really fat like she could lay more babies or something.
