Mg Spawn Went Horrible

started wrapping- no eggs, then he got the idea and we had eggs comming and then she started fighting him so she could eat the eggs instead of him putting them in the nest, he got mad and all hell broke lose. he didnt want to spawn any more, so she started grabbing him by the fins and dragging back to the nest and trying to wrap him...crazy horny fish. I managed to syphon out 1 hopefully fertilized egg. he got the crap beaten out of him, so I had to just spilt them back up, just because she was being a royal biatch. I dont think he is up to parenting the egg, so I lowered the water level down to like an inch and we will see how it goes.

I have set another spawn up...my white sd girl and my sister's ohm forest green boy, and they are gentley swimming around, enlargeing their nest and I think they will be spawning shortly.

im soon gunna be taking a few eggs from a nest and artifically hatch them, need to think about it a bit more before trying it out as wanna get things right, but will let peeps know if it works out

He just wasn't willing enough. You know what they say.... can't rape the willing. Anyways, it sucks that they failed as I would like to see what the offspring looks like.

well he can swim and get to the surface easy, right now he wants to hide in his teracotta pot, and he looks more like a ct then my pretty ohm borderline rt. I have salted and melifixed his water, and he is resting now.

she is now loseing eggs everywhere...then promptly eating them. If and when I spawn these guys again I am going to try using a 20 long instead of one my 10s, and throw a ton of plants in (this time I only had 2 and some plant pots) and make the tank look like an over grown mess....that way if she gets crazy again he can hide.

azul...the white sd girl's name is princess... her sisters name is peach.
