Melting Plants, Cut Off?

My tank had a rescape and I had to move all my swords either out of the tank, or into the corner. They are starting to melt now and I just wanted to know if I should let them finish, or cut them off, and if so where?

swords, you can cut the leaves at the base, new ones should grow from the middle of the crown, although if its a new plant you can uproot it and pull the leaves towards the root for a clean break, although uprooting isent good for it

The plants are a few months old, I had to rescape the tank for my loaches so they were up rooted for a few minutes

Swords dont like to be moved. When they are moved they melt. Dont worry tho as said before, cut off the melting leaves it will recover in good time.
