This is Mistah Puff, my T. cochinchinensis. He's more or less fully grown at 3 inches and I've recently set up a new planted tank for him. Here he is underneath his little puff-cave made of rocks (don't worry... the roof is attached with silicone, so he won't become squished). Sorry the pictures aren't great, but I only have a webcam! He was only moved to this tank last night, so he's still a little stressed and his colour is darker than usual. I'm sure in a few days he'll settle down and become lighter again.

Here are some better pictures of him that I just managed to snap where he seems to have a much better colour! Ignore the floating plant... he dug that up on his own and I have yet to replant it .

I do think he's adorable . I've had him for nearly two years, but his previous tank was planted with loads of rock crevices and such for him to hide in and I never saw him! So I'm just really pleased that I finally got around to creating a setup that includes all the hiding places he could want, but also allows me to actually *see him* when I want to.

Thankyou!!! :D
Unfortunately, where the tank is situated there is a bed post right in front so it obstructs the view of the tank somewhat. I don't mind this because the tank is in my room and therefore not really on display so to speak. I enjoy looking at it so that's all that matters ^_^. But it does make getting a decent front-on picture a bit tricky (especially with only a webcam). These are sort of the best I can do I'm afraid! (Again... ignore the floating plant... I'll replant it tomorrow!)

The grassy plants are Lilaeopsis brasiliensis and the crypts at the back behind the cave are Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Mi Oya'. I have some Riccia on the roof of the cave as well, but that isn't too visible yet.
