My platies have finrot which i've been treating with esha2000 for the last week. All of them but one had recovered after dosing with interpet 8 but my red male was looking awful - not eating and shimmying a little.
After a week of esha (following instructions) and 2 salt baths he seems to be acting normal but still has a viciously ragged fin with white patches. One of my females also has a little finrot on her tail
Water stats are ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 15 and both loaches haven't been affected at all
Should i change meds, do more salt baths etc.?

never stop meds in the middle. continue for a full round. sometimes a second round of meds is needed.
i would continue your current route (BIG waterchange inbetween the first and second round of meds) and continue with the salt baths.
how much salt and which type are you using for your baths? should be aquarium salt at 1 tablespoon per gal for up to 30 mins 2X a day. just in case you have your dosage incorrect. if dosing the tank, should be at 1 tablespoon per 5 gals.
hang in there. sometimes it takes a while to kick these things.
cheers

*edit for spelling

Esha 2000 is a 3-4 day dose (7 drops day 1, 3 drops days 2+) which i continued for 7 days as suggested. i've started week 2 of treatment with a 30% water change

For the baths i use rock salt (fully dissolved, no iodine) as 10/L for 5 mins every other day. I'll start doing them more often
Thankyou :)
