Medium Size Community Fish

I have a small 70l tank with these;

3 Blind cave tetra, large
1 Kissing gurami (small and friendly!)
3 Bronze corydoras
2 Buenos Aires tetra (large and old)
2 Tiger barbs
1 Spotted Synodontis (large, 5-6 inches, eats smaller fish. He has a taste for tiger barbs, although the two that are left seems to have sussed him out and are safe, I hope.)
2 Bristle nose plecs

What other community fish would you recommend considering the stocking and size of tank? I realsie that I can't have many more, and I don't like over stocked tanks. Maybe one or two more?

I would say that the new fish have to be 2 inches+ to make sure they are safe from the synodontis. It’s also worth mentioning that I quite like oddities, so any unusual recommendations would be nice.

70 litres isnt big enough for kissing gouramis
your synodontis
and tiger barbs preffer groups... i would rethink ur whole tank

The kissing gourami is very small and will be moved into a larger tank when ready, but for now he's fine.

The tiger barbs were part of an 8 group, but they got picked off by the synodontis. I may take out the other two but for the moment they seem perfectly fine.

I didn't know Synodontis prefer groups, thanks.

The synodontis is very special to me as it was a birthday present from my gf, but he may have to go, along with th barbs and the gurami.

I realise it's an odd stock combination.

what is it synos like eupeterus are fine alone but multipuntatus like groups

for you 70 litre this is what i recommend..

1 bn pleco
6 tiger barbs
5-6 cories

any more and you gun be realy over stocked...

i would rehome the fish that you cant bear to send back any that you are not too keen on either rehome or send back
