Hi everyone, does anyone know how long to leave it after adding a 10 day course of medication, before I replace the black carbon sponge in my juwel filter? Is it ok to leave it out for this long?

I'm not sure I understand the question exactly but you should put the carbon in when you finish and take it out after about 5-8 days. It doesn't do much good afterwards anyway. Follow this up with a large water change and everything should be fine.

You only put the black carbon back after the course of treatment has finnished, then you do a water change, the instructions tell you how much to change then you put the black carbon back to remove the rest of the med.

ok, so would it be ok, if I finish the course of meds on sunday, to put the carbon sponge in on monday and do a water change wednesday ish then take it out at the end of the week?

You need to remove the meds with a water change first then run the black carbon for a few days then remove it if you want.
