Ok, I am treating my 29 gallon for popeye since one of my girls got it and infected a few of my other girls, although not quite so bad. But the medication is making my tank really cloudy. Does that mean i shouldn't add any more, since it's still in there? What your opinion on this?

Thank you!

It's a 29 gallon, with 7 female bettas and some neon tetras. I am treating it with maracyn-2.

Thanks!

Does the Maracyn packet say that you can do a water changes, cause if it does then maybe if you did a partial it would help with the yellowing effect in the water.

Not sure about what sort of dosage you need to give with Maracyn or for what period of time, but I would have thought that a water change would have been OK after a day or so of it being in the water.

Well I read the back of the box and they say to maintain normal filtration and air. Well, this is for bettas, so I use a sponge filter. I think that is why it is clouding up so much. I think they are assuming you are using a carbon filter, which I am not. It has cleared up a little bit, and I am planning on doing a water change on Friday, so that the medicine can do its thing. They are looking alot better.

Thank you for your help!
