Will meds dissipate over time?

I dosed with ich meds two days ago and with melafix yesterday.

I'm worried because I don't know if the blue haze is supposed to go away, or if it's normal for it to fade. XD I can still smell melafix in the water.

And my goldfish are covered in spots, why? I thought the meds killed the swimming parasites, unless it takes a few days for the spots to become visible.

And should I keep dosing until it's gone, then change water? Melafix needs to be dosed for a week, and I'm doing the ich cure for twice the length(8 days), to the advice of my LFS.

Sorry for so many topics, I just don't want to lose any more fish.

Whats in your tank. coldwater or tropical, are you trying to treat for whitespot.

Fish in sig, And I said I was treating for ich.

Meds. Do not dissapate usually. To remove them you will need to have carbon in your filters. Also what medications are you using exactly?
