I've just finished a 4 day dose of Methylene Blue in my 50L and have doen a 50% water change. Can i now dose straight away with another med, or do i need to put carbon back in the filter to remove the blue colouration from the water??

Hi,
Leave carbon in for a few hours, to remove all traces of the old medication. IMO, it is best to completely remove all traces of the old meds before using a new one. This is as the new med may react advercely with the old one.

Thanks for the advice. I've put the carbon in after doing a 50% water change and will then add the new meds in the morning.

If one of my tiger barbs has fin rot, would this spread to the other barbs, even though i have isolated him in a breeding trap in the same tank?
