what are some fish that school medium -high in your tank for a 40 gallon could be schoolling or none scholling does not matter... i have a convict in there tiger barbs and a guarami so it couldent be anything like an angel but they dont bother the guarami so im not to worried and my convict is not aggresive at all so put in some options ....i would not mind a fish about the same size as a guarami maybe a bit bigger or a bit smaller but no tetras

The perfect schooling mid to top dwelling fish is.... the long finned black tetras They get really big not counting their long fins and they school. So I imagine you could get 6 to 10 of them. And they look great.

well i have to get like 3 more tigers first il wait a week then maybe get those il have to think first

Buenos Aires Tetras are tough as nails, grow rapidly to 3 inches, and are quite attractive when happy. They are incredible plant eaters, however. A very hardy fish, but not for the average planted community.
