meal time

I was just teasing the Eel with my finger and one of my cats decided to check it out by jumping up and half into my aquarium. That whole side of my room got drenched, and all the poor fishies are hiding in the far corner of the tank.

All my company hangs out in my tiny bedroom, staring at my 80 gallon and feeding my fishies. Dont know why I bothered getting a couch for the living room never gets used.

Wow they are awsome. How big did you say that tank was.It looks like my 180 gallon. People comes straight to my house and starts looking at my fish and they never bother with saying hello anymore. They just ask how much has the fish growed. I dont mind though I love the nice comments on my fish and my tanks. It makes it all worth while, What all kinds of fish do you have in there, I saw a oscar and the dempsey and the pleco also the eel, what are the other kinds..

is it a good idea to keep goldies in the same tank as tropical fish? i have thought about it in the past, but goldfish are very dirty fish, and i think it would be a strain on my filters

no its a bad idea to have goldies in with other fish. They are messy, and put off a lot of ammonia, not to mention they are a cold water fish. Those are my last surviving pond fish. I sprung a leak and didnt have anywhere to store them.

I have the Fire Eel, a Dempsey, an Oscar, a leopard spotted sailfin pleco, three albino cories, and five (cant think of their name) speckled cories. Which are normally housed in this tank. Then the three feeder goldifish :) from the pond. Cause of course the coons couldnt eat them they wouldnt taste nearly as good as my Koi did.

lovely fire eel, looks quite keen to get that worm, mines too lazy for chasing!

Mine used to be really lazy too. I used to feed him every other to every three days, Now I feed him every day and he has so much energy he hardly spends anytime in his cave hes constantly out zooming around and begging for more food.
