It's only an hour away... I don't think I can fit in in my place. I will have to measure...

If only I had a house of my own, and had no intentions of moving in the next year or so. I have a feeling that apartment buildings would frown upon a tank of this size.

Think it's a good deal?

BIG tank

Of course you can fit it in your place.. Just tear a wall down here and there.....and do you really need a couch or book cases?

This is the one that I've been watching, it's only two hours away and a freaking bargain for three huge tanks.

Sadly I have no money and the suspension has collapsed on my car.

Unfortunately i still live with the parents, so tearing down a wall would be a major faux pas. If I had my own house with uber strong floors you couldnt keep me away from that for a minute

Sir... I've seen those.. they are awesome. It would be hard to pass them up. But having a car is kind of important.

I'm sure you could fit that on your apartment if you really want to....I was offered the same tank and equipment just right after I bought my 75 gallon..who knows that could be the same guy since i live in toronto.....Anyways I surprise my parents last boxing day when I brought my big tank...my mom was shock and didn't like the idea the same thing with my dad, but he warms up with the idea since he likes feeding my fish...lol..he even help me build a stand....Anyways I have a 2 bedroom apartment and I can fit that size of tank in the living room...I sure you can too....

Problem is that I dont live in an appartment yet. I am still in my parents house looking for a place in toront to move to. I think a big tank is a pipe dream until I buy a house somewhere

just remember its heavy. some of my friends apartments the floors bow in when more then 2 people stand on them. if my one friends apartment that tank would go through the floor half full. :D

Thats exactly my problem. If i had a house of my own, with good solid floors I would be all over this. Maybe if I had designed my basement living area differently I could have fit it here, but oh well. Im having enought problems with my 35 right now, last thing I need it to multiply them in a large tank.

Large tanks and apartments are ok. Just put the tank against a load bearing wall and put a platform under it to distribute the weight.

A simple platform of 2X12 planks will spread the weight over the undertank area of the floor.

Here is the maths:

150 gallons plus tank is about 1400 pounds. 8.33 lbs. per gallon plus ~200 for tank.

72"x18" =1296 square inches.

This gives you a little over a pound per square inch of weight. You exert more force on the floor than that tank will.

I have a 110 in my livingroom, it's totally doable. Get it when you move in.

A VERY GOOD PRICE!!!

I started drooling when I saw how massive that tank was. And I had to read it twice to make sure of the measurements... If I bought it, I'd keep it in the centre of a room or something, and have couches all around! :p Stock it with some big fish, and heaven!!! :fun: :fun: :fun:

I saw it and immediatly thought angels (ive waned them for ages), like 10 of them, and some loaches, 10 - 20 of my rosey barbs and some cories. Im sure I could fit more in there... but I can't even imagine how many more I could fit.
