Fish Crazy
About a week ago I was emptying my 65L tank to move it from one room to another. I'd been using it as a temporary home for all my community tank fish whilst we were decorating. It was massively overstocked but it was only for a short time, and I did waterchanges every 48 hours. Well, after i'd moved all of the fish back to their 200L, oh how they loved the space, I was beginning to empty the tank using a gravel cleaner. I was minding my own business when all of a sudden I spotted a tiny Guppy fry, no longer than 8mm, being sucked up my cleaner. Quickly I blocked the end of the tube and slowly allowed the fry to swim back down the tube and out to freedom, and rescue. He's now housed up in a breeder net in my Pygmy Puffer Tank, awaiting a move back to the community tank when I feels he's big enough. I'd only managed to catch one of the last lot of babies from my community tank so now i'm well chuffed that i've doubled my kindergarten.
