I have put my angel from my 60 litre to my 35 litre (was gonna be upgraded soon to 120) as he was picking on my golden and bolivian ram.
and the bolivian may need to go for picking on the golden ram.

I think i will stick to peaceful fish from now on!

I know how you feel about this, I've had a few fish like this.

Even my new(ish) Sparkling Gouramis seem to pick on each other. They all have torn fins/tails. I don't think it's fin rot either, just nipping.

I'm praying they "grow out of it".

We should both get Harlequins, I've never heard of them picking on anything. and Corys, lovely lovely natures Corys lol.

your problem is more than likely lack of space and the disputes are no doubt over territory , or rather lack of it .

I swear by harlequins,ive had 10 for 18 months and they are so placid...


Twinkle - your sparklers may be males - hence the aggression - i've never seen mine being aggressive towards each other... although they are in a bigger tank...

all fish pick on each other. u have to find the way to deal with them.

yeah, they have had their fins nipped before, and the settled down and now they have done it again.
I thought they did grow out of it.

Yeah peacefull smaller fish are probally better choice, but could get eaten.
I am getting 14 broze corydoras tomorrow, got them at 18.65 including postage

Oh i should be getting a bigger tank for christmas, which is 120 litre or more.
so shall i keep them untill then and see how they get on in a bigger tank?

up to you rams can be very territorial to each other ime. i had 2 gold rams with my discus and 1 harassed and bullied the other to death , and that was in a 120g tank!! the upgrade will deffinately allow you to create more defined territories which can only help .

Yeah I think I may have 2 males and a female. One is far more drab than the other 2. How unlucky. Though I wouldn't have expected anything less. Now I've had them a while I'm now 100% it was one of them that nipped my Cory's tale too
