So I changed from gravel to sand last night. It went fine and it looks great. My fish seem to like it too.

Anyways, I woke up this morning and noticed one of my corys was swimming up and down the wall of the tank. I think he was just hungry because there probeley wasnt as much food on the bottom as usual. So I fed them, and he seemed to calm down.

Another thing is, is that I noticed hes alot lighter in colour then the other one, but I only noticed now. It might be how the substrate looks and the new lighting. But hes defiently alot lighter in colour then ive ever noticed. Does anyone know of any diseases that would cause a fish to lose its pigment? Or was it just an albino cory all along, and im being too paranoid.

Help! Thanks!

He was fine for a while but now hes constantly swimming around my tank frantically, up and down. Then for a short period he'll graze the bottom like hes looking for food. Hes very white and has a blueish tinge.

Someone please help!

I had corys (cories? corries? What IS the plural of that??) a few years ago... they always behaved like they if they were excited by even the smallest thing. Put a new plant in the tank and they'd go nuts for three days. It could just be the excitment/stress of the substrate change. I'd just keep an eye on him but he'll probably settle down once he gets used to his nice new sand.

Ok thanks alot, I was just worried cause the one that didnt lose it's pigment is acting normal. I think hes calmed down now though
