1 really confused me... is that a wall?  upright or on its side?..if its upright how is the cat on there >.>

Its a vertical wall, as I understand it, and the cat is "cliffwalking".  If you look at its feet carefully, you'll see that it appears to be on a small ledge formed by the bricks sticking out.
