So I just picked up 3 females and they're quite small about 1 inch. Are female bettas small compared to males? Also instead of housing them in their own homes could I add them to my 20 gal in my sig if I take my male outa there?

Thanks for your responses

Female bettas' bodies are almost the same size as males' when they are fully grown, they will get a little bigger, about two inches. They would be fine in the 20, but you will need to remove the male.

Thank you. I'm planning on breeding them..I eventualy want some lil doubletails swimmn around.

if you take the male out and give him his own 2.5-5 gallon they will do well in the 20. body size females get the same lenght as males, with shorter fins, they do however have the tendency to get very plump.
