somewhere.......why do you ask?
My New Betta (he's My third one) has just made a bubble nest. Should I go out and get a female right now? And If I should, when should I separate the male and female? And then, when should I separate the babies? :look:

a bublenest just indecates that you have a happy healthy lil guy there, theres no need to get a female as breeding takes alot of research which many take months over, you just have a happy lil guy :good:

Most Males will make a bubblenest it doesn't mean there ready to breed
If ya do wanna breed him make sure ya read the sticky on forum and also
ya wanna find a good female and they need to be conditioned and the right breeding tank set up
and dont forget all ur foods, baby tanks etc and the jars for the many males that will be growing out

oh, ok. Thanks. I always had a filter that made bubbles at the top of the water anyway, so I had to look it up on google. The guy from the petshop I bought this fish from said that once he makes a bubble nest introduce a female. Was he wrong?

Yes, he was wrong! Breeding bettas is an expensive, time consuming, huge commitment. If, down the road, you do decide you want to try your hand at breeding, then I suggest doing loads of research before even thinking about attempting to introduce a male to a female.
Congrats on your happy little betta :good:
