Mating Barbs

Hey guys I just purchased 5 tiger barbs yesterday in my 24G/90L tank to add to my honey gourami. I wake up today and find two barbs mating Was very surprised, guess they like the tank and it's just been finished with the cycle process for a couple of weeks. I plan on getting another 1-2 barbs and some more honeys in the future as well. Don't worry the barbs dont even notice my honey.

Just curious to know some basics of tiger barb fry, how do they lay, what can I expect, etc. Thanks

Hi, im my own personal opinion, 7 or more Tiger Barbs might be pushing it a bit in a 90L tank.

But in all honesty, i was advised to stay clear of Tiger Barb when looking to stock my tank, mine is 120L.

Don't know why that is. As long as you don't overcrowd and have solid tankmates you should be fine.
