Master Test Kits

I want to purchase a master test kit. But they are fairly expensive so I was hoping someone could tell me how good/reliable they really are???
also what is the average price for them? the one available here is 89 $ It is the large one. but the store I have here is usually way more expensive. Is this price a little over kill?

You could get an API master kit. Its a little cheaper and covers the basics.

The API Master Kit is awesome - accurate AND quite easy. I got mine on line from Petco or Petsmart (can't remember which now) for like $19 USD. I have seen it at lfs for upwards of $40-50 USD. Watch for sales and google "coupon codes".

If it's the only one you can get, what does it matter what's thought here? You'll just have to buy it and see since you don't have any other options.

No, because if its no good then id rather not have one at all. Wait for a while till I can get one from somewhere else
