Today, my big female guppy gave birth to 56 fry :D I don't even know what to do, can they live in a 4 gallon for a while? I'm not sure if I could give/sell them to the LFS >< If they don't accept what could I do? Oh and, surprisingly she gave birth to siamese guppy twins o.o, it looks horrible to look at them being stuck together, could I somehow cut them apart, or just leave them ? The thing that is connecting them together may look like a substance thats liquish, or may be a yolky thing :look: It's cool how when the fry come out of the guppy's stomach, it comes out as a bubble-like, then it shapes and will swim or fall down into the gravel and rest there. I did not see any pipe or stuff like that, just pop and a bubble comes out ^^;. Looking forward to answers..

Edit ; the siamese twins seem to be gone, could it be that the thing that was connecting them just be a sticky substance that was inside the stomach? When in water it was gone and then separating the two? Not really sure yet because I'm positive that I can not see the twins anywhere now.

hi,
congrats on the fry, its cool to see them being born, yes you can bring them up in a 4 gallon for a while with reg water changes, also reg feeds, crushed up flake so its like powder 3-4 times a day, also when they get older frozen brine shrimp, ask at your local pet shop if they would take them, maybe for a small amount of cash or some fish food, you wont get much cash because they are so easy to breed, also the female is going to have fry every 4 weeks so you are going to have to think if you want to save them every time.
good luck with them, donna :)
