Any one planted any Marsilea hirsuta before? I bought some from AE and it looks really nice, and following Tropica's advice (on the plant info writeup) I've trimmed off the taller shoots, but now I'm wondering about how to plant it. I don't think it has a rizhome so I guess I just burry it up to the bottom of the shoots?
Any ideas on propogation? (ie, I snapped a piece off!)
I have some in my nano, its easy to plants, I just separated it into 1-2cm long 'stems' i.e. the 'rhizome' that the leaves come out off and then just pushed these into the substrate. It does seem to take a while to establish (but that could be to do with my current lighting issue) and the roots dont seem to be very big so its easy to pull out even once established, but it doesn't seem to be a demanding plant and looks quite nice, well in my nano anyway

EDIT - when I was planting it, I too found it snapped quite easily, so as a rule I planted any bits, no matter how small that had a node on them i.e. any bits that had or used to have leaves growing out if them and I think it's all grown.
