mine started in the toadstool, went to a hammer, which they killed!!, and have now moved into the pussy coral...strange little fishies,lol...
Even try out the xenia occasionally....

marron clowns are fab but if you get a pair take a bucket to your lfs and get them to put them in the bucket as if they singel bag them they will just pair off or get them to put them in a large bag the Will be ok in the same bag so no need to worry

well to be honest ive seen a maroon rip a perc to shreds (when collecting lr from some one) and it isnt a pretty sight , and i would never risk having percs with my yellow banded maroon clown but its up to you

could you not just phone your lfs and ask to order them in and if you dont like them then dont take them thats what i do with all my angels lol but the lfs are ok with it as some one else will take them.

by all means its up to you i just wouldnt trust mine

yeah i totally agree that its how you do it but apparently these fish had been together for months and then the maroon just flipped

but i think its down to fish

Could have been the individual fish, could have been the size of the tank, could have been the arrangement of the tank. I believe when you have different species of the same fish, clowns, angels, tangs, that this type of aggression can be helped very much by the actual aquascaping. If there are enough territiories created by the shapes and forms of your rock, it will be much easier to keep these type of fish together.

Tank size along with the way it is scaped, will make a huge difference. One of the best scapes for keeping these types together is actually the bommie look, which both Seffie and I have subscribed to. :good:

it is a big tank so it will be ok i have had them in a 3ft reef tankl and they where fine but we will find out soon what happens but i am 100% sure they will be ok
