Hi, I am planning to set up my first marine aquarium tank and I need some help. I am buying a fluval vicenza 260 tank which is pre drilled. I've heard sump filters are the best option but I'm a bit unsure what to get and how to set it up. I like the idea of the marisys 240 as it's all in one with an automatic cut off in event of a power cut. However, I'd prefer not to have any equipment hanging in or on my tank. Is there a way to utilise to drilled holes to direct feed the marisys therefore doing away with thhe hang on overflow box?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out a bit.

:hi: to TFF and the salty side of life.

The marisys 240 doesn't have a very good reputation - but i'm sure our hardware gurus will be along soon and help you out (hardware is not my strong point  )

ps
dont forget to start a journel :good:

What size are these drilled holes?

seffie is right, the thing is just rammed with filter pads and a skimmer, adding a propper sump would be better
