Yeah, I know a guy that has saltwater... he says it's pretty easy to do, just different water tests and parameters. But you're right Kent, I don't think I have the money!! Plus I want to do reef if I do do salt.

Lovely clowns and cleaner! Whats the goby, chalk?

Marine is fun, lots more time consuming and yep, expensive mainly due to live rock being so expensive, I have 25Kg's at £13 per Kg -_-

Nice tank. Choice of fish......... not so good. Cleaner wrasses mostly starve to death unless they are eating prepared food. THEy pretty much feed parasites which a healthy tank will not have many of.

Well that Wrass has been there for months and months, I'm sure if it were starving it would be dead by now.

Transport costs to the UK must have something to do with the high price I guess. It is actually labled at £14.50 per kg, but if you buy more the price comes down, as little as £10 if you are after 20kg. You are close to good sources of LR so it should be cheaper, same as the US.

KentBlokey, looks like a gobie they have labled as a chalk gobie at my lfs, very nice fish and active.
I know almost nothing about Marines so that went straight over my head
Cleaner wrasses are so called as they clean other fish of parasites, it can be hard to feed them if there are no parasites, but they can be weaned onto prepared foods and frozen if your lucky.

Ah. I understand. I was with him when he bought it, He's very finicky and does things proper so I would expect he knew this......I've seen it feed on frozen food, what that was I can't remember. So it does eat! And must be fine, as i've already said, I would expect it to have died otherwise!! And has grown considerably.
