Marine Tanks

thats well cute! are these tank bred? i just heard that tank bred clowns don't usually inhabit anenomes
I'm not sure if they are tank bred or not. Some clowns will never host, but most will host to something in the tank at some point, whether it is some algae, a spot behind a wavebox or a nem.

Lol my clowns seems to enjoy my gondioporus (spelling?)

IMO most CB clowns like maroon's, percs and Clarkiis do host in anemones such as BTA's. Only ones that they dont are ones that they dont in the wild, like Condilatis etc.
You are right in saying that, but you dont see an empty BTA where there are clowns in the tank often  But every fish has their own personality, so they dont sometimes
BTW you've got me wanting a BTA now, sicne my condy extended its tentacles sooo much it got sucked in to the powerhead at the top of the tank last night :( The intake was covered as well! It was a lovely pink nem, very tall though so it took up alot of room. Didnt wander around so it must have been happy. Will try a Bubble Tip soon (going to a good shop in the Feb half term :D )
