Marbled Bettas?

I have become really interested in these little guys after reading up on them a bit, and was wondering if you could give me a few tips on how to keep them and where to find them. Also, why/when do they change color? And can they change to whatever color they choose? Oh, and how do I find them in pet stores? Do they classify them differently?

As for the keeping, I have a empty 3-4 gallon bowl that I would like to use, it has a big opening on the top for breathing. I would have to get a filter for it, anyone know of some cheap ones that will work? It has a rounded and lipped edge.

Marbles can change colour for different reasons, some to there mood others just as they age its all in the Genes Care wise there the same as any other betta just don't be expecting to see the same fish every morning

no idea where you can get them as i'm in the UK have you looked on aquabid or ebay?

On I side note, I was at the fish store today and I saw the most beautiful white halfmoon female. If only I could buy her! =( She looked really calm and pretty I imagined her in a new 5 gal tank with 2-3 ottos..*sighs*
