Maracyn

I am using maracyn to treat my betta twist. Hes in a 1 gallon tank but I lowered the water to about 1/2 gallon because hes having trouble swimming. I dosed the right amount but the tiny piece of tablet is not doing anything but sitting at the bottom. Is this what this tablet is suposted to be doing?
Please let me know as my little twist is not doing well at all...

if you give it a while it will dissolve (or it should)

Ok it did. I just woke up and it is gone but twist is still showing no change...

When I used Maracyn, I put the tablets in the filter pack so that water was constantly passing over them to help it disolve.

I just drop them in the tank, they take a number of hours to dissolve. It takes more than a day to see any results, that's why you med for a number of days.
