after having no end trouble with algae I purchased 2 loaches and witin 2 days the tank is spotless

Glad it worked but just keep in mind that if you got "sucker loaches", they aren't really loaches (loaches dont eat algae but most are good at clearing up snail problems) but actually Chinese algae eaters. They get large and very aggressive as they get older and will pretty much stop eating any algae rather quickly. They will attack most any fish but especially slow moving, flat bodied fish like angels and gouramis and try to suck the slime coat off them. Have also been know to suck the eyes out of corys.
