manic molly

Can anyone explain why my female mollie is constantly chasing my male mollie around and nipping it. I only have the two they are black lyretails. I also have 3 silver sharks, 2 koi angels, 1 sailfin pleco and 1 ruby shark, my tank is 30 gallon. they are both feeding and neither look unhealthy, but both mollies have only been in the tank just over a week.

One of my silver mollies is exactly the same with my other silver molly - constantly chasing her and forcing her into the corner of the tank all the time. They are both female though. I think it maybe just in their nature that some are like that going by experience and previous posts on here

I thought the males were supposed to chase the females, but I suppose its a sign of the times, equal rights and everything, lol.

I did have a male who chased them all but he died after he made two of them pregnant!

I'm thinking of moving my 'hassled' molly to my other tank as the babies are probably big enough not to get eaten now..not sure how it;ll work out though.
