Ive got a tank which has matured well, im still relatively new to keeping malawis, ive noticed that 2 or 3 of my fish have devolped a rash of black spots on the underside of their bellies and on their throats, they dont seem to be in any discomfort, they are feeding well but is this a disease of some sort? ive looked for it and had no sucess, can anyone offer any help or advice?
Also is it ok to feed them bloodworm once or twice a week?
thankyou

I'm afraid I can't give an answer on the black spot issue, but I can say that giving bloodworms to most malawis is a bad idea, particularly if you're keeping mbuna. Their long digestive tracts are not designed to handle fatty foods like bloodworms. Feeding bloodworms more than very rarely (once a month?) may lead to Malawi bloat, which is a particularly nasty disease and often fatal.

Hope that helps...

Yes I would agree with modernhamlet about the bloodworms...If you want to gave them some meat, I would suggest either brineshrimp, krill or any crusteans meal...You can even feed them live food once in a while...I've never heard anything about the blackspots, It might be better if you take some pics and post, maybe we could help you better...
