Male or Female

So I got a female lyretail swordy last week.....after my other 2 lyretails committed suicide.

Now it looks like she may be a he, or a she.....it changes everyday. One day I look at her and am convinced that she is female...fan shaped anal fin, rounded body. Then the next day I look at her and it seems there is the beginning of a sword, a folded up anal fin and a slender body.

Why does she tease me so?

i feel your pain, i've had my black sword for over a year and all of a sudden, she's a he! she/he was already pretty big when i got her, so i don't think it's just a case of late development.
