Always thought we had a female jag because it and a male convict used to display to each other an clean stones together but seeing the breeding tube down i'm not so sure now? What do you guys reckon?

yep im in agreement with hamfist , if that is indeed a tube you can see it looks pointy which says male , oh and im also insanely jealous!! ( in a friendly way of course ) i would love a jag !

He is a beaut but we're in the same situation as you were. One fish in a tank. Plus he'll out grow that as its only a 280 litre. We have someone to buy him but at the minute we're will we won't we.

Looks like a female by the markings but as Mark said, tube says Male.

I just got rid of my male (went with my 6ft tank)

Thanks everyone But he was a SHE as she laid a batch of eggs and then eat them, not that they would of been any good as she was on her own but she could of at least tried.
