Ok, so this time its one of my lovelies from Amerce. Been talking to her about it, and I'm almost certain that she is actually a he. Amerce has said it must be a very late development, but I've got before and after pics if you'd like to call them that. There's quite an obvious difference with it. This little girl has been causing havoc in the sorority tank lately, and has strongly developed a male-ish attitude and appearance.

This first pic is a couple of days into when I first got "Her", quite obviously a female look about her.

This is her now, with a male. Look at that flare

Just a note, these two being put together was a test for the two of them, as the blue was supposedly a female also but I bought him knowing fine well he was a male. So, was making sure on him and testing "her".

So, what you all think?

Yes I say male too and very bootiful too!

:hyper: he was just a late developer! lazy boy!

Late developer eh? That's all the proof you need, he's definitely male... tsk women are ALWAYS early or at least on time!!! :p

I dunno, could be a longer finned female, cant see if there is an ovipositor or not in either pic. Ventrals are still kind short. I had a late developing male when I had some female CT's he looked female for several months and was fine in with the girls!

Yeah, she/he was fine with the females as well. I've had her a good few weeks now and its only been the past week or so I've noticed a difference. I can't see an oviposter on "her" by looking, but the colour makes it difficult. Although I've also determined that looking for this spot isn't a good way of telling, considering my two PK males show a distinct ovi and are most definitely male.
