Male Or Female Guppy

Hi, Im trying to figure out if this guppy is a female or male. Its looks to me like a male but I Think I See A Gravid Spot. Really I just dont want to have my strains screwed up by one small fish.

it looks to young to sex, but i think u may have a water problem as the fins are not looking very good. do some water changes

it looks too small to sex, the male is bright coloured and the female is dull coloured. but they both are dull coloured when they are small.

actually it came to me like that I bought some more fish on aquabid, and that floating stuff in the water is just food i fed them right before i took the pic

Well they don't look very good I would expect much them in much better condition.... ask if they used any ammo lock? as i think they have been bagged up to long or to many fish in a singel bag.

quite a bit to go then, i have one around the same size that is about 5 weeks old, just started to show colour, how often are you feeding/water changing?

I have some in a 20G that I Already Can Tell Are Males, And Then The One In The Pic Is In The Female (30G) Tank. I Feed 3 Times A Day An Amount They Can Consume In 2-3 Minutes. I Change 8 Gallons A Week In The 30G And 5 A Week In The 20. My main concern is I dont want my strains to get mixed up I have blue diamond, green moscow, and purple moscow Im thinking of maybe getting rid of the blue diamonds I really just want to be successful at breeding high quality guppies

if it is in with adults then it is possible it isn't getting enough food, it looks a bit on the thin side to my likeing and is clamping its fins

That fish dosent look good at all. Talk to the seller about it.

i would personally seperate ie and any other that look the same way, the up the water changes to 2 a week, this should help growth and you will be able to make sure it is eating enough

Well when i got up this morning the fish was dead as well as another one I got from the guy

not that Ive noticed I just did a water change so hopefully all is well
